Playing With Pandas!

I can't believe that it is almost time for me to go to China. The time is approaching faster than I even realized. Everyday is another day closer. There are so many things to do in Beijing but yet so little days. There are so many opportunities that are available to us that it's going to be hard to pick just one.

In the time coming up to our trip, I really thought to myself, what is one thing that I would really want to do in China? After much thought, I decided that I would love to go to a zoo! I did some research and found out that there is an amazing zoo not to far away from where we are staying.

I love animals and whenever I travel I always try to go to a zoo. I think going to a zoo in China would be an awesome experience because there are so many animals that I haven't seen that are in the Beijing Zoo. Such as these adorable animals.

Giant Panda
Golden Snub-Nosed Money

The Beijing Zoo is the largest zoo in China and is home to about 14,500 animals. It has 16 different exhibition areas, including the panda exhibition which is the zoo's most popular area. The panda exhibition is an additional 5 Yuan, to the 15 Yuan's that you pay to enter the zoo, which is about equivalent to $3.15 America. This seems like a pretty good deal to me. Especially since you can access the zoo right off the subway.

Also part of the Beijing Zoo is the Blue Zoo which is an aquarium. It houses 5,000 sea creatures. The aquarium has a 360-foot movable walkway that will take you on a 10 minute journey through an underwater tunnel, which sounds awesome.
